Thank you for your interest in volunteering to serve at the 2019 Arlandria Eggstravaganza. This event is staffed exclusively by volunteers. Join a team and spend some quality time with friends and neighbors.

You have the opportunity to volunteer for one of these teams or one of the specialist positions:


This team coordinates the registration process by checking in participants and distributing bags for the egg hunt.  You will be the first friendly face that our neighbors encounter and the initiator of the Easter Eggstravaganza experience.

Information Team:

Help our neighbors locate various activities, answer questions and provide general assistance.

Activities Team:

This team staffs the games, crafts, and activities at the event with the exception of the egg hunts.  Prepare to have a blast with our neighbors!

Food Team:

Egg hunting is hard work!  Satisfy our neighbors’ hunger by cooking hotdogs and handing out drinks and chips.

Egg Hunt Team:

This team staffs the egg hunts.  Put a smile on the kids’ faces by putting out thousands of eggs for them to collect.

Stage/Production Team:

This team assists the bands with setup, operation, and tear down of the main stage including all production related equipment. They are in charge of technical matters relating to production during the event and will work with performers to ensure that the main stage runs on schedule.

Set-up/Tear-down Team:

This team helps with set-up and/or tear-down of the event as well as creates an interesting, fun, and unique environment for the event. We will also need a few people to help on the Thursday and Friday before the event.  Help us prepare an event to remember for our neighbors and ensure we leave the neighborhood the way we found it.

Will I receive more information about what I will be doing?

Yes, your team leader/the volunteer coordinator will contact you with more information before the event.

When should I arrive?

Please report to the volunteer coordinator 10 minutes before the start of your shift.

Where can I park?

We are currently arranging for a volunteer parking lot in walking distance to the event. However, we recommend that you carpool, walk, or ride a bike to keep as many spaces as possible free for our guests.

What should I wear?

We will be providing you with volunteer t shirts on the day of the event. This will help identify you as an event volunteer to the general public. We suggest you also wear comfortable shoes and clothing suitable for the weather forcast. If you are on the food team, please bring a hat to wear.

Should I bring my lunch?

Lunch will be provided for volunteers on the day of the event. Snacks and drinks will also be provided though you may wish to bring a bottle of water. If you have food limitations, I would consider bringing a bag lunch.
